Many literature materials have talked about the unheard voices of black women in this continent as one of the major causative factors of political movements against the ill practice of racism. However, sexual offences have been viewed as minor tools of racial oppression and have only been highlighted in stories that talk about the struggle for freedom by African Americans. For a long time, the pleas of women were unheard. This wa s either because of racial inequality or gender domination; all of which did not favor the blacks any bit. For this reason, the plight of sexually molested African Americans in the USA did not find justice until 1959 when a sexually abused black lady received justice. Her white assailants were arrested, tried and convicted by an all-white jury. This then marked a historical transition that marked the end of silence that surrounded rape against the blacks. Many other similar cases were then publicized. This included a case that involved two white police officers who arrested a young black lady purported to have been drunk then later raped her repeatedly. The fact that victims of this circumstance broke their silence and came forward to talk about their plight was not brought about by the demolition of a wall of silence. It was, however, en gineered by the available opportunities for justice and the unbearable pain of violation faced by these women. In some situations, black women who found themselves amidst the clashing interest of antagonistic policies fell victims of sexual harassment. The ill-fated rape victims had to come forth and present their pleas to the relevant authorities. Others presented their pleas to church leaders after either failing to be given a listening ear by the authorities or failing to trust them. After an endless fight to earn recognition on the judicial platforms, rape victims received support from humanitarian agencies. This then enabled them gain justice for sexual offences committed against them. At the end of cold war, new concepts aimed at fighting sexual offences against black women were introduced. These concepts were meant to foster human security and development in a bid to improve awareness on the plight of black women. Human security incorporated military preparedness and power stability amongst political powers. This also incorporated health, community, personal and environmental security. At the end of it all, there were fruitful gains that resulted from undivided support of humanitarian agencies. It is important to note that the violation of human rights is a menace that must be countered by all available forces in a bid to save human dignity.
